Tap the power of cloud services to propel your organization into the pole position
Kevin Karcher
IT Outsourcing Product Marketing Leader, HP Enterprise Services
The reality of a hybrid delivery model is that enterprise IT must manage critical aspects of sourcing services either internally, through outsourcing or through the cloud. Traditional outsourcing delivers great value for the enterprise seeking to lower cost, mitigate risk, improve service quality and ensure a secured IT environment. However, consuming cloud services from an external service provider have not always yielded the same benefits until recently. In this session, learn how to propel your organization into the pole position with pre-built, enterprise-class cloud services that are designed with your core applications in mind – workloads that need enterprise-grade security, 24x7 support, and full integration across your systems.
The formula for cloud success: Strategies for managing and securing your services across the hybrid delivery model
Paul Muller
Vice President of Strategic Marketing, HP Software, Hewlett-Packard Company
Today’s hybrid IT environment boosts the number of choices in how you source and deliver services to the enterprise: private cloud, public cloud, traditional IT, on-premise, off-premise, etc. Whatever the sourcing decision, it’s IT’s job to ensure that the services are available, perform to expectations and are secure—to meet agreed service levels. In this session, learn how to implement a lifecycle approach to managing and securing cloud services. Hear about ways you can understand the costs of providing services so you can make informed sourcing decisions. Discover how to aggregate and offer your services via a user-friendly service portal and catalog. And learn how to do all of this while automatically provisioning, monitoring and securing services and their underlying infrastructure and applications at the push of a single button.
