      Digital Realty Trust started renovations on the building in 2000. It was originally built in 1912 and at one point housed the Chicago Manufacturing Division.

      Rack 'em and stack 'em. Digital Realty Trust maintains the traditional hot-aisle, cold-aisle configuration in their data centers, although they don't get any LEED points for doing so.

      Digital did get points for having high-efficiency chillers as well as variable-state fans on its air handlers.
